Parrot and Fig

This collection started when a tiny parrot 

visited the jambu air

(watery rose apple) tree

in my garden. 

And it grew into a celebration

of all the things I love about being outdoors.

Wild figs, and big forest leaves,

Soft feathers, and heart-shaped leaves,

Lizards and breezy tree-tops

And leaves dancing in the sun.
